A couple of weeks ago, Chris, Ali and I made a pilgrimage of sorts to the Holy Land. Regardless of your faith, the places you visit in Israel are just overwhelming.

Tues. Jan. 29th — One of the saddest days on the calendar!
January 29, 2007. 6 years ago today was a typical day, until I got a call from my mom saying I needed to get a ride home from school because my parents were at A.I. duPont Hospital for Children| Nemours with Andrew for what they thought would be an appendectomy.

Often, I write about B+ Foundation activities. Sometimes it’s a dance marathon, a 5k, a golf outing, ice hockey game, car race, or some other hopefully worthwhile activity that we or other people are putting on to support our mission to fight childhood cancers.

I thought you might like to see a ranking of our 2012 “Top 10 Hospitals”. In 2012, we gave out over $500,000 in family assistance grants to families of kids with cancer at 174 hospitals.

2012 was a busy year for The B+ Foundation. Thanks to our loyal supporters, we are able to continue making a difference in the fight against childhood cancer.

What an amazing night last Saturday!!! Thank you, Mike Cofalka & Griff Jordan and everyone from the Wilmington PD and Wilmington FD, for a wildly successful event.

The B+ Foundation is proud to announce the awarding of a $60,000 grant to the Ben Towne Center for Childhood Cancer Research at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Mon. Dec. 31st
Twenty teams from around the country competed over the past 4 days in the Diamond State Classic.
Thurs. Dec. 27th
Today, the Diamond State Classic (DSC) got underway with a full slate of games.

I had every intention of writing an update on our sites last Friday and then, like everyone else, I learned of the tragic loss of lives in Newtown, CT.

Thanks to Michael Goldberg at Indulgence Jewelers, we have beautiful, new monogram-style B+ necklaces and bracelets now available.
Sat. Dec. 1st — Home from Vegas
Ali with racing fan and 11 yr old B+ Hero, Nathan Silpath, who she invited to join her for the NASCAR Awards Banquet in Las Vegas.
Mon. Nov. 26th
Chris, Ali and I decided to get away for the Thanksgiving holiday and picked Seattle for a long weekend.
Tues. Nov. 20th
Thank you to the DelVal BMW Car Club for joining forces with The B+ Foundation to fight childhood cancers. At their annual meeting last week, the Club presented me with a check for $10,000 to help families of kids battling cancers.
