Last Friday, we helped a family who has 5 kids, one of whom is battling cancer.

While no one certainly ever wants to go through it, we are all so grateful that our B+ Hero, Joey Borowski, has a good match for his bone marrow transplant.

Thanks to Steve Catalano, Andy Ziegler, and all of the men and women of the Talleyville Fire Company, B+ Hero, Dane Johnson, and his siblings and cousin got a REALLY cool surprise yesterday.

Wed. Oct. 31st – Halloween
My Halloween present to the B+ Nation… a picture of Andrew and Ali on Halloween 1994. (You might not be able to see it, but Andrew is sporting Elvis’ long sideburns.)
Thurs. Oct. 25th
We traveled to the state capital tonight for the presentation of The 2012 Governor’s Outstanding Volunteer Awards. Ali was selected as one of the winners this evening and we are, of course, very proud of her.
Tues. Oct. 16th
Tyler was a seemingly very healthy 14 year old boy (sounds eerily familiar to me). He couldn’t grip his mini-bike so his parents took him to the hospital.

A few months ago, I posted about our two B+ employees, Carly Bergstein and Nadine Mitchell.
Mon. Oct. 8th
Last Saturday, Nadine traveled to Towson University (MD) for their “B+ Fall Festival”. The Towson students, under the leadership of Phi Sigma Kappa, put on this event for the 2nd year.

Happy 22nd birthday to Ali — the most wonderful, kind, and funny daughter, big sister, and friend in the world.
Ali Honored at NASCAR Race
After leaving Long Island after the B+ Marathon experience, we headed to Dover, DE where Ali was honored at the NASCAR race on Sunday.

Last Saturday was a real thrill with B+ Hero, Joey Borowski, his sister (Casey), and parents (Theri and Marty) being recognized on the field during the University of Delaware football game.
Thurs. Sept. 6th
I gave a talk yesterday in NYC at a company and I said “I’ll bet you won’t see any gold ribbons, gold whistles, or gold gloves tonight during the NFL season opener between the Giants and the Cowboys”. It is, after all, National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
