Mon. Sept. 3rd – Happy 20th Birthday, Andrew!!!
Happy birthday, Andrew. There are no words to express the joy I felt twenty years ago when I was handed a warm, just-born baby boy to hug and kiss for the first time.
Thurs. Aug. 30th
Perhaps even more so than most days, I can’t stop thinking about Andrew today. And, I’m more than OK with that.
Tues. Aug. 28th
As those of you with military experience know, a high honor is to receive the coin of a senior officer, President, Vice President, etc. This tradition holds true in law enforcement as well.
Wed. Aug. 22nd
Message from Andrew
“You can tell Ali that everything happens for a reason.”
Sun. Aug. 12th
I had the pleasure of joining Noxah Palomo’s family for “Noxah Night at the Blue Rocks” on Friday.

Prior to our B+ Racing Team’s race at the famed “Brickyard” (Indianapolis Motor Speedway) last week, we visited Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis.

I’d like to introduce you to Rocco DiGuglielmo. Rocco is a 5 year old PA boy who was recently diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).
Thurs. July 19th
It was a great honor and I’m sure Andrew was smiling down on us. Thank you, Charlie Dodds, Rob Smith, and everyone at the Union for honoring my son.
Tues. July 17th
First, and most importantly, thank you all very much for the kind notes, emails, Caringbridge posts, and FaceBook posts in support of us this past weekend.
A Message from Ali on the 5th Anniversary (7/14) of Losing Her Brother from this World
It’s hard to believe that it’s already July 13th. The 13th is my dad’s birthday, but it’s much more than that anymore.

Mon. July 9th
I used to really like July. It was one of my favorite months. It’s my birthday month and my anniversary (today! Happy 29th Chris!!!) month.
Thurs. July 5th
Please keep B+ Hero, Miranda Ram-Nolte in your prayers. Miranda is a 16 yr old friend of ours from PA who is recovering from lung surgery (related to osteosarcoma) at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, TX.
Mon. June 25th
The weather was perfect, we had a lot of B+ Heroes and Sibling Heroes present, there was a ton of free food (200 pizzas, 750 hot dogs, 200 Chick Fil-A sandwiches, hundreds of soft pretzels, cases of Frito-Lay snacks, and cases of water), nobody got hurt, and I think everyone had a really good time.
Mon. June 18th — B+ 5k POSTPONED TO MON. 6/25 DUE TO EXCESSIVE HEAT!!!
Out of concern for the safety of all of our runners, walkers, AND most especially our B+ Heroes fighting childhood cancers, we feel compelled to postpone this Thursday’s B+ 5k until next Monday, June 25th.
Sat. June 16th
For those of you who have followed our journey from the beginning, you will recall the time that we snuck Andrew out of the hospital one Sunday afternoon so that he could pet his dog, Casey.

Because of our loyal supporters, we are able to fund cutting edge childhood cancer research. This specific research that we co-funded with Solving Kids Cancer, at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, may show promise.

Thank you for the very kind messages of congratulations to Ali on her graduation from the University of Delaware on Saturday. While we are SO proud of Ali, it was still a bittersweet couple of days.
