Meet a New B+ Hero
Lisandro is a 15 yr old boy who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in Dec. 2014 and it has now spread to his lungs.

The Blue Hen Parrothead Club will be hosting their 8th Annual "Blue Hen Bay Bash" on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Riverview Inn in Pennsville, NJ.

Thank you to the Elks Swim Club for hosting the "B+ Swim-a-thon". No offense to the parents who worked hard to plan this, but this was yet another wonderful example of "Kids Helping Kids Fight Cancer".

5,000 Miles Peddled on a Solo Trip? Seriously?
Yup...he did it! My friend, Dave Corydon, rode his recumbent bike 5,000 miles to raise awareness and money for The B+ Foundation. And, he did it alone.

Thank you very much to everyone who came out last night for our 9th Annual B+ 5k Run/Walk. The weather was great, there was a lot of food, great music, inspiring B+ Heroes, and some really fast runners.

Remembering B+ Hero, Steph Bader
It is with great sadness that I report that B+ Hero, Steph Bader, passed away last Friday at the age of 13 following a battle with a brain tumor.

At the recent 2015 Annual Meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), a tremendously exciting update was shared regarding the immunotherapy research being conducted at the Ben Towne Center for Childhood Cancer Research at Seattle Children's Hospital.

Can you imagine biking 5,000 miles in 55 days? B+ Supporter Dave Corydon is doing just that, while spreading the B+ Message along the way! Planning to average 98 miles a day, Dave's already on Day 9 of his bike ride across the country.

As you know, The B+ Foundation is one of the 2 dozen or so members of the Alliance for Childhood Cancer. The Alliance is roughly split evenly between professional organizations (oncologists, oncology nurses, other doctors, researchers) and advocacy organizations like us.

What a Weekend!!! Two Big Steps Closer to a World Without Childhood Cancer!
The University of Delaware students knocked it out of the park this year! This past Sunday, as you'll see in the picture, the UDance 2015 students raised an amazing $1,282,103.
