How Can You Help Fight Childhood Cancer?
Yes, you alone can make a huge difference in helping The B+ Fight Childhood Cancer. It could be by wearing a B+ shirt and spreading the message, talking about childhood cancer, being a regular visitor to this site and our B+ Facebook page (and sharing our updates), and/or by helping us raise money to help families. There are a lot of ways to help raise money, such as:
Support our mission through your employer-sponsorsed United Way campaign
Delaware - please use our "write-in" number - 11776
Southeastern PA - please use 47481
All other states - please use our federal tax id # -- 42-1741037
Select The B+ Foundation in your non-United Way employer-run giving campaign. JPMorgan Chase employees -- The B+ Foundation is once again a charity selection option.
State of Delaware employees - The B+ Foundation has been approved as a charity for your State Employees' Charitable Campaign (SECC)!
When you do your Back-to-School shopping on Amazon, please make sure you register The B+ Foundation as 'your' charity on AmazonSmile. A percentage of your total purchases on Amazon (THROUGHOUT THE YEAR) are given to our foundation. You just set it up one time and you're good to go.
10th Annual B+ Golf Outing, Dinner, & Auction
It's SO hard to believe that this will be our 10th. Thank you very much for your support; especially those of you who have joined us every year. This year's event will be held on Mon. Sept. 26th at the DuPont Country Club in Wilmington, DE. If you're a golfer, we hope you'll join us for the whole day. If you're not a golfer or are too busy that day, we hope you'll at least join us for the dinner and auction. Please register today by clicking here.
Please contact [email protected] if you are interested in being a sponsor or can help us secure some great auction experiences.
THANK YOU to:
Blue Hen Parrothead Club for including The B+ Foundation as your beneficiary for your recent Bay Bash.
Professional soccer club, FC Cincinnati, for hosting "B+ Foundation Childhood Cancer Awareness Game" on July 30th. It was especially meaningful to us because two of Andrew's friends, Dante Marini (Charleston Battery) and Jimmy McLaughlin (FC Cincinnati) played in the match. Nearly 20,000 new people learned about The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, our mission, and they got to meet B+ Hero, Natalie (pictured below).
Please keep our B+ Heroes in your thoughts and prayers!
