Shop on Amazon and Fight Childhood Cancer - What a Deal!
AmazonSmile is a feature of Amazon that provides a 0.5% donation to us based upon your total spending. We don't know who is spending on what, we just get a check every quarter. All you have to do is go to https://smile.amazon.com/ and select The B+ Foundation as 'your' charity. You only have to register once. As an added bonus, they are donating an extra $5 if you purchase something by Sat. June 14th. It's virtually no work for you or us and Amazon sends us a check to fight childhood cancer. You can't go wrong. Please make sure you register at Smile.Amazon, though, or we won't get our donation. Thanks.
8th Annual B+ 5k
We've got a little ground to make up in our fundraising for our upcoming B+ 5k on Thurs. June 19th. If you're able to, please register to join us at https://www.beposfdn.org/5k14/index.aspx .
If you can't be there in person, please consider donating to "Andrew's Angels".
Meet Damien Smucker
Please take a minute to stop by Caringbridge to say 'hello' to Damien, a young PA boy who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. Please keep Damien and his family in your prayers and try to take a minute to leave him a nice B+ message. Thanks.

B+ Racing on the Podium in Kansas
Congratulations to B+ Racing - Jim Jonsin, Al Carter, & Brett Sandberg - for an impressive 3rd place performance last Saturday at Kansas Speedway. Two days earlier, Jim, Al, Brett, and fellow driver, Corey Lewis, joined me for a visit to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City to meet some of the brave kids fighting cancer. Children's Mercy is one of the 210 hospitals where we've helped families. And, as you'll see below, we've picked up a new B+ supporter in Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys. In the picture below is Grammy Award winner Jim Jonsin, me, Nick Carter, and Al Carter.
Calling All Volunteers!
As part of our selection as one of the two beneficiaries for Delaware Today's "Best of Delaware Party", we need to round up a few dozen volunteers (ideally >21 years old) to help with the party. The event is on Thurs. July 17th from 6:00pm-9:00pm at the Chase Center on the Riverfront. I'd really appreciate it if you could help us that night. I want to show Delaware Today that we're a good partner and, hopefully, they will select us again next year. It's a really fun event. If you are able to give us 3 hours of your time, please contact me at [email protected]. Thank you VERY much. Thank you for caring about children with cancer. Some day...some day, we won't need to talk about kids getting cancer.
